This test provides more information about your career areas driven more by intrinsic motivation and personal potential with a deeper and more intense level of engagement. With each item you are given three activities and you have to choose the one that appeals to you first, second and last. The test seeks to establish what sorts of activities appeal to you. However, some people are concerned about how to respond if there is a distinction between what might appeal to them and what they think they are realistically capable of doing. There are two ways in which you can respond to the items in the test. First, you could respond by asking yourself, 'Would I like to do this activity, regardless of whether I think I have the ability or qualifications?' This is generally the preferred method. Second, you could respond by asking yourself, 'Would I like to do this activity and am I capable?' If you prefer to respond to the questionnaire in this way, that is perfectly satisfactory; you can always do the questionnaire the other way later, using the first approach, if you wish. Remember, also, that there is a danger of thinking you cannot do something when in fact you do have the hidden potential.
